Secrets of Creating a Powerful Writing

Almost all marketing activities involving writing. Most advertisements in various media has two main elements, namely pictures and writings. Advertising messages delivered through pictures and writings.
Even in an advertorial ad, writing is more dominant than the picture. Likewise, when you submit the offer letter via post or e-mail. The words in writing can convince prospects. However, not all papers can attract readers' attention.

Here are nine secrets to make a strong and persuasive writing, which may motivate readers to act.

Secret # 1: Writing is interesting to someone.
Try to compare the three following statement:
(1) How to increase marketing results;
(2) How can marketers improve marketing results;
(3) How can you improve the marketing.
In the third sentence, when the word "you" is used, direct the reader to see and feel that he became the focus of the text. So, when marketers use the word "you", greeted the prospect of direct feel and felt himself to be the focus of the marketing message. When in school we are taught to write to a third person, but in our marketing writing for the second person, always greet the reader as "you".

Secret # 2: Translating advantages (features) into a benefit. A feature is a fact about you or your business. Benefits are what clients get when using that feature. You connect the features and benefits with the words "this means". For example: We have seven people customer service team. (So, how will it benefit your clients?) This means ... we can serve all customers' needs quickly and accurately. (Or whatever it means for your customers). Therefore, list all the competitive advantages and the features that you offer to customers. Then translate those features into customer benefits that can be enjoyed while working together with you.
Every time you write something in a marketing document, always express the benefits you offer to clients. When you translate those features into benefits, you reveal the reasons why people use your product / service. State the benefits you offer by way of what the prospects want, feel and do. Remember, prospects will not use the service / product you until he knows what good for him.

Secret # 3: Write with full enthusiasm. Awaken the passion of your readers with words that move their hearts to act. Words that have a high impact is not boring. Use active verbs, not passive. Active sentences that will make the reader feel involved in your message.

Secret # 4: Select the words short and simple. Write your marketing documents using words short, dense and clear meaning. Short Words have power. The people are very educated even if not allergic to short words. The reader is very easy to catch the message delivered in a short word. Use words that are very meaningful and unbiased. Remember, what you say is more important than how you say it. You do not need flowery language to convey a message bluntly. Choose words that are short and simple, but very meaningful.

Secret # 5: Use short sentences. Typically, short sentences easier to read and understand than long sentences. Readers tend not interested in long sentences and convoluted. Therefore, if you find sentences breed, try to break into two or three short sentences. Why? The first time the prospect did not catch what you said, probably grumbling he said, "Well, I'll read this later." And you know what that means. But, of course, not all short sentences. There is a sentence that is longer and others shorter. When everything was short, your writing does not seem to flow.

Secret # 6: Use short paragraphs. Each paragraph of no longer than five lines. Remember, not five sentences, but five lines. If a paragraph is longer than five lines, try to break it into two short paragraphs. Keep paragraph length varied between the short and longer. Do all long or short it.

Secret # 7: Make sure the reader with facts. If you want to prospect using your product / service, your writing should be able to answer any questions he might ask. This means your writing will be longer, but do not worry. Writing an effective length will not because he is long, but because the writing was complete. Throughout your writings contain data that is needed readers, the writing should be interesting. If you get a prospect is interested, he will read every word. You can not expect the prospect of using the goods / services you if he has no information that he needs to do to make a decision. Therefore, do not be stingy and data. So, do not be stingy disclose the fact.

Secret # 8: Treat your readers with respect. Always speak with a passion to lead. Use words and phrases that evoke hope and passion in their lives. Praise their successes and courage. While flattered, people usually see opportunities. But if insulted or blamed, they stop reading and get rid of your writing. Treat your prospects as if he was driving a Rolls Royce and menghadari opera.

Secret # 9: do not be wasteful of words. Check every word in your marketing document. How important and meaningful that you use one word? Does he need? Is there no other word more appropriate to say something? Whether it can stimulate readers' curiosity right now? Use words that support the delivery of your message appropriately. To get the right words, every article you must be read again and edited. Do not be reluctant to make corrections on an ongoing basis.
